Create editor toolbar that will group access to the most commonly used actions.
Implemented. Additional customization options will follow in the next few days.
I expect that the actions are plugable by other modules. Where can I found the documentation? The http://editor.netbeans.org does not seem to contain such link, just some out of date (?) pages...
Hi, I downloaded the new beta of NetBeans. It's so cool, but I ran into unexpected problem. I hid the Editor Window Tollbar and I can not show it again anymore. 1. Right click on the toolbar. 2.Uncheck the combobox. Rsult: The entire area is hidden, so I can't rightclick on the toolbar to select the checkbox again. I'm still searching in the documentation and configuration files, probably I'll be able to fix it. So, my suggestion is to leave a tiny area at the former position of the toolbar, or to add a "Toolbars" item in context popup window. Thanks, Vesselen Nedkov vnedkov@msn.com
There's Tools->Options->Editor Settings->Toolbar Visible option. Originally we thought that the toolbar visibility menu item could be on the left (glyph) margin popup menu however that margin can be made hidden completely. The next possible place is in popup menu under Margin submenu which will be likely the winner.
