Try to create a project that uses automake and doesn't have ./configure or a Makefile

fails

then create those files

reopening dialog does not work

I guess this cache eventually expires, but it wasn't quick

I haven't quite got what is the test case.

Could you please provide detailed steps what you are doing. It will be also nice to have the automake project you are experimenting with if it is open source or you can share it with us.
