Networking problem in http://deadlock.netbeans.org/hudson/job/nbms-and-javadoc/lastStableBuild/artifact/nbbuild/nbms/extra/org-netbeans-modules-python-samples.nbm On today's development build on OS X 10.7.3, 201205090400, after the first install, it asks to import my settings. It also asks about JUnit, which I accepted, but that never displayed anything. It then hangs importing my project. I have to force quit. Then after a restart, the projects are there, but it dies trying to download plugins. My networking is fine. I suspect that somehow the JUnit thing is still running. IOt has done this twice now.
I updated to OS X 10.7.4 which rebooted mp Mac, and I get the same network error.
This is not a problem of Plugin Portal Update Center but rather Development Update Center. Reassigning.
It should be working fine again. Can you please verify this James?
Very strange. This morning it get the plugins just fine. on OS X. But I also installed on Windows 7. It got 35% of the way through getting the plugins and died. I canceled it and tried again. It did not even start.
I just installed latest Java SE development build on Windows 7, opened Anagram Game project which triggered download of JUnit. It was downloaded without problems so I also installed all "Java Web and EE" plugins (44MB). Since I cannot reproduce this issue I am resolving this as WORKSFORME. If you can still reproduce it reopen this issue and provide exact steps what you do.
It is still dead for me on getting the python plugins. Other plugins download.
So you say that you can download the Python samples plugin via web browser 5 times out of 5 attempts while it 5 times fails if you try to download it 5 times from the IDE?
