Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 20120227-bab5dbc81a61)
Operating System = Linux version 3.1.9-1.4-desktop running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_31
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 20.6-b01

1) Build a J2SE project, build and dist folders are created and correctly marked as ignored in the IDE
2) Run Git -> Add on the project
You'll sadly realize that all files under those ignored folders are added to the index
