Screen shot of the IDE when trying to register the server.

Hi ,

I have installed and downloaded latest version of netbeans 7.1 idea.When I want to register my existing glassfish server, IDE is not able to recognise.Even the error is not reported.

Here is the about information from IDE:

Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.1 Beta (Build 201109252201)
Java: 1.7.0; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b17
System: Linux version 2.6.38-11-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_IN (nb)
User directory: /home/sreekanth/.netbeans/7.1beta
Cache directory: /home/sreekanth/.netbeans/7.1beta/var/cache

OS is Ubuntu.

Please find the attached screen shot.

please attach the ide log data. /home/sreekanth/.netbeans/7.1beta/var/log/messages.log

There is more info that will help me diagnose this issue in that file.

Hi Vince,

The IDE log already rotated and now I have 3 log files.Hope one of those would be helpful.

Which version of GlassFish do you have installed?

Please report the output from the following sequence of commands...

/space/Sreekanth/servers/glassfish3/bin/asadmin start-domain
/space/Sreekanth/servers/glassfish3/bin/asadmin version

user reported seeing this with 3.1.1 and 3.1.2 via e-mail.

I was able to replicate this in the beta... but could not replicate this with a recent dev build.

You can get a recent dev build here: http://bits.netbeans.org/download/trunk/nightly/latest/

If you are able to replicate the issue, please reopen it and provide any additional relevant details.
