On the page http://netbeans.org/community/contribute/patches.html, patch
creators are directed to use main or main-golden mercurial repositories. It
seems that the "real" main clone is main-silver.

IMHO developer-oriented pages like this should be imported into wiki.netbeans.org (e.g. run 'html2wiki' on Ubuntu), with the original static content deleted and a redirect set up. Otherwise it is very cumbersome to make updates.
