Description javydreamercsw 2011-09-06 19:38:13 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build nbms-and-javadoc-7843-on-20110906)
Operating System = Windows 7 version 6.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.7.0
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b17

I did an upgrade from20110831xxx since the update poped up. After installing I gt this error:

The module named org.apache.commons.logging was needed and not found.

Maven and other 11 modules were not able to be started.

Marked as P1 since this can happen on released app until sorted out.

org.apache.commons.logging module replaces a former module org.netbeans.libs.commons_logging in recent daily builds, now IDE can load original OSGi bundles directly, doesn't need wrappers of 3rd party libraries anymore.
You mixed both of them in your installation, you will not reproduce it in clean installation of latest daily build. If I'm wrong, reopen it again. Thanks
