I was creating a new project and the IDE got stuck witha grey screen. 
I checked the ide.log and there was nothing there. 
I'm attaching a thread dump.

Fix looks OK to me. Though I might suggest that
ErrorManager.getDefault be improved to cache the error manager and
attach a lookup result listener. We already do something similar for
other lookup-based methods.
