Nothing happens. No error indication at all. Restarting application, rebooting computer, repairing application, no change.

Created attachment 108643 [details] messages.log as requested by Marian Mirilovic As a workaround I solved the problem by changing the name for the .netbeans/7.0 folder. After that 7.0 behaves properly, but I need to re-configure all the changes I made one more time:-(... So my 2 pfennig says that there are some inconsistency somewhere in the configuration files found in the .netbeans/7.0 folder. I can zip it and send it to you if need be. Cheers /Lennart
Yes, could you please attach a zip (config folder is needed)? And what is more interesting is how this happened? Have you changed any options? Did you import any options from previous versions of NetBeans before problem appeared?

I have done some changes in the formatting and color/fonts area, nothing to get excited about. Im sorry that I cant give any more details on what took place before I noticed this error. Hi, I had the same problem with Netbeans 7.0.1 W7Pro 64bits. I was able to resolve them by modifying the file: %userprofile%\.Netbeans\7.0\config\Preferences\org\netbeans\modules\options\api.properties OptionsHeight = 500 OptionsWidth = 871 OptionsX = -949 <--- problem is here, if I put 100 everything works ok OptionsY = 117 I think this value should not be kept never negative, I do not see much sense regards
