This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
JDK 1.7.0-ea-b142 This issue is JDK-specific. It is not reproducible under JDK 6 update 25. The "Open File" dialog contains shortcuts to Recent Items, Desktop, My Documents, Computer, Network. The "Open Project" is missing all these shortcuts.
Kenneth, I need to know whether this is a bug in JDK7 or Netbeans. JDK7 is going GA soon so we need to let them know as soon as possible of any regressions.
I am not sure what the issue is here exactly or why it was originally assigned to usersguide. If the reporter is observing a problem with the Open Project dialog that is related to JDK 7, then this issue should probably be assigned to Projects component for evaluation. I do not have system configuration (PC/JDK7) of the reporter so I cannot deny or confirm this behavior or provide any additional details.
