Description harleyflh75 2011-05-06 17:09:22 UTC
Before 7.0 the run configuration pulldown would have just the name of the configuration that was given to each one setup, now in 7.0 there appears to be namespaces or something similar instead (example: PhpConfigurationProvider.C for all configuarations that i have setup) this is all i see when i pull down the list...without pulling down the only part that is shown is PhpConfigurationPro...

Can you make this dropdown wider or give us the option to not display the namespaces (or whatever they are)

Comment 2 Petr Pisl 2011-06-02 15:05:10 UTC
It's reproducible. It contains the configuration ID.
Comment 3 Tomas Mysik 2011-06-02 18:13:53 UTC
Strange, I cannot reproduce... I will investigate more. Any special steps required?

Thanks.

Cannot reproduce, so closing as WORKSFORME. Feel free to reopen if the problem still exists.

Thanks for reporting.

I am experiencing the same exact issue as the screenshots show. I've had this issue going on for about 2-3 months now but have worked around it by just switching configurations through the projects "properties" menu item. It is getting quite annoying though to have to keep doing that especially when i have so many configurations that is necessary for me to switch to and from. Is there anything I could provide to help get down to the root of this problem?
Comment 6 Tomas Mysik 2011-12-02 05:10:36 UTC
Since we cannot reliably reproduce it, we would need exact steps to reproduce otherwise it is really difficult to fix this issue. Does it happen to you every time? Does it happen to you with a clean userdir [1]? Or is there anything you must do before/after/during your IDE session for this issue to happen? DOes it happen without PHP support? Or...?

Also, marking as RANDOM.

Thanks a lot.

Sorry, still cannot reproduce it myself. Please, if there are any steps to reproduce let us know. Thanks.

Adding Jesse to CC, perhaps he could have an idea why this happens or what could be done to find out the cause of this issue (maybe this could be a bug in Generic Projects UI?).

Also adding Láďa to CC - please, try to find reliable steps to reproduce if you ever see this issue.

Thanks for reporting.

I can't reproduce it either. The combobox shows proper configuration name (with "_" instead of spaces and shortened with "..." and when it's pulled down full name)
