Description Jesse Glick 2002-01-24 17:12:57 UTC
#19717 has steps to reproduce. Opening this only for tracking progress on the
XML side. See log file for details of where code from XML modules is being run
after the modules have been uninstalled.

Comment 2 Jesse Glick 2002-01-24 17:15:01 UTC
Note: I made this P2 just because it could perhaps be dangerous to run
code after uninstallation. If in fact it turns out that the code is
very minor and does not use settings or things like that, the priority
should be lowered as the bug is not likely to have an impact on anything.

Suggested workaround does not sound to be bullet proof.
Let it be fixed systematically in #19717.

OK. Any opinion on whether this is important enough to try to get
#19717 into 3.3.1? I have been watching it in the trunk since I
applied it there. It does report a fair number of errors in the log
file, in many cases things which cannot be fixed easily or at all by
the module. They are not shown to the user however.
