[ JDK VERSION : 1.6.24 ]

There is no way to register an instance of GlassFish v2.
"Add Server"-wizard only shows "GlassFish 3.x".
After installing "GlassFish v1, v2x"-plugin, "Add Server"-wizard only shows
"GlassFish v1" as additional option.
Found no way to register v2 instance.

Take a look onto issue #195117. NetBeans restart should help to you as well as helped to me. If not comment please into the original issue, thanks.
