The TASKS windows which is in the Netbeans IDE is not work correctly. In the Netbeans 6.5, 6.6 this windows process of file, main project or all opening projects and show their all ToDo Patterns correctly. After install new versions Netbeans 6.7, 6.8, 6.9 this TASKS window does not work correctly. Show only information from python projects and their hightlights. The ToDo Patterns list is not include and have not sense.

Please, look on the this problem and repair for the NEW version Netbeans 7.0.

for some time now the todo scanning is triggered by the parsing api, which doesn't seem to be the case with python.
reassigning for further evaluation

I lost write that main probelm was for C projects:
* Pattern list contains for example: \todo
* The file with code contains "// \todo test of netbeans" several times.
* And the todo list do not show these lines.


Can you check it?

This bug has been fixed. See Bug#164038
We are diligently working to improve Python support for NetBeans 8.1, and you can test our work in progress
