Created attachment 106336 [details] output tabs glitch Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201102230001) Java: 1.7.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 21.0-b02 System: Linux version 2.6.32-28-generic running on i386; UTF-8; en_US (nb) When using JDK 7, tabs in output window aren't fully drown. I've made a screenshot with comparison of normal look no JDK 6 and corrupted look on JDK 7. See attachment.
Reproduced. It's not visible well on javax.swing.plaf.nimbus.NimbusLookAndFeel and com.sun.java.swing.plaf.gtk.GTKLookAndFeel.
Removing fix-in-nb701, since this can not be fixed in NB. This is a defect in the look and feel. Also, it's not a problem of Output Window, but CloseButtonTabbedPane in openide.awt. Can be workarounded by removing setTabLayoutPolicy(JTabbedPane.SCROLL_TAB_LAYOUT); but it may not be desired.
Hmm, it works - but JDK bug is still opened : http://bugs.sun.com/bugdatabase/view_bug.do?bug_id=7031915 verified in : Product Version: NetBeans IDE 7.0.1 Dev (Build 201106072116) Java: 1.7.0-ea; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 21.0-b15
