Sometime when we wrote wrong code and correct it, the little red warning logo is updated on the wrong line, but not on the file in the projects view and in the tab view. A workaround is to close Netbeans and this will be updated on the "scanning" action at the start of NetBeans.

Tested with mac php version 23 11 2010

I will look at it but please notice that the exact steps to reproduce the issue are always more than welcomed.

BTW as a work around, it should be fine just to close and reopen the project.

My guess is that there is problem in the caching file "states" in the infrastructure. 

Honzo, I believe that you have already such report. I'm right?

Badge infrastracture has been rewritten for 7.2. Now the badge occurs only after you save a file.
