I click to quicksearch field and start typing "quicksearch" (or anything else). 

Until I finish typing, no "searching ..." indication is displayed, which gives quicksearch sluggish feeling and makes the impression the IDE is not doing anything. Only after that, the "searching..." indication is displayed.

Note that this issue is not about quicksearch performance (how long it takes to return results), but about responsiveness (how immediate the IDE reaction is).

Correct behavior would be to display the indication immediately as one starts typing. 

Check "Go to type" dialog, it behaves correctly there.
