This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 180851, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related.

Build: NetBeans IDE 6.9.1 (Build 201007282301)
VM: Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM, 16.3-b01-279, Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment, 1.6.0_20-b02-279-10M3065
OS: Mac OS X

stiffuser: Stepping in C++ on OS X 10.6 when there are watches open.
The problem seems to be worst when the watches are not defined in the current scope.



Maximum slowness yet reported was 30022 ms, average is 30022

Problem can be constently reproduced in C/C++ debugging by addind a watch to a nonexistent variable. On my computer, this causes a 30 second delay every time.

some other snaps are about NumericDisplayFilter.isReadOnly which is issue #190991

fixed in the new infrastructure in 7.0
