Description mike__rainville 2010-07-05 19:50:23 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 (Build 201006101454)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 16.3-b01

I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing wrong, though probably not a bug, it's very unsettling to have to keep clicking on "Design Fragment" in Navigator, on Editor tab, or reset Windows
just to keep trying to change a variable's properties.The hair trigger "hide window" behaviour really breaks the flow.

I had a lot of difficulty trying to rename "label", because the properties window disappeared every time I tried to change the Name.

Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce it. Please, could you provide a step by step list of actions how reproduce it?

Please, check if the following steps works for you:
1) Open a design file
2) Click somewhere in the design editor area (e.g. the while background of the scene)
3) NOTE - the Navigator should be visible and have the representation of the selected object within the design editor should be selected in the Navigator as well
4) NOTE - the "JavaFX Composer Properties" window is opened, visible and showing the properties of the selected object

If this does not work, please, attach your NBUSERDIR/var/log/messages.log file as well as the screenshot of the IDE right from the states right after your click in the design editor.

Resolving as Incomplete. Feel free to reopen the issue when you attach the steps to reproduce...
