Description gmohdz 2010-06-07 00:39:39 UTC
Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 RC2 (Build 201005312001)
Operating System = Linux version 2.6.32-22-generic running on amd64
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_18
Runtime = OpenJDK 64-Bit Server VM 14.0-b16
I opened a project a was working on it. I required to rename a directory file containing several php files. I tried to do it using IDE capabilities right clicking on the windows and name files and did not find any option to rename files or directories. After I went to the archive manager and did the directory filename change and came back to IDE. There is not option to refresh the list of files or source items and then I decided to close the project and then reopen it. I was surprised the directory name did not change in the IDE but it was in the files system. Disappointed of this problem I did close the IDE and finally the directory was reflected as expected.

No.

To reporter: I tried to reproduce and it works for me - few notes:
- Rename can be found under Refactor menu
- do you have auto-scanning of sources enabled (verify in Tools > Options > Miscellaneous > Files)?

Thanks.
