Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 RC2 (Build 201005312001)
Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86
Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20
Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 16.3-b01

While debugging my server I updated the web service reference in my test client.. the updated worked, but the cursor remained stuck in the Busy state - until I started entering this issue via the Report Issue menu item.

It's not P3 because busy cursor state doesn't break any functionality.
It's just cosmetic problem.

This old bug may not be relevant anymore. If you can still reproduce it in 8.2 development builds please reopen this issue.
