This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Steps to reproduce: 1) Window->Services->Team Servers->Add Team Server 2) Note empty name and "https://" as the URL 3) Just click Add 4) Validation begins and takes a dozen of seconds 5) After validation finishes, "Provide a valid Team Server valid URL" appears. If I enter something in the URL field, "Name cannot be empty" message appears. I would expect either of this messages be shown at the very beginning so that I could not be able to click "Add" without entering smth and wouldn't waste time waiting for such "empty" team server be validated.
