This Bugzilla instance is a read-only archive of historic NetBeans bug reports. To report a bug in NetBeans please follow the project's instructions for reporting issues.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Perform Find Usages so that there are some results in the Usages results window. 2. Move keyboard focus to the editor. 3. Select Window->Output->Search Results from the menu by pressing Return on the Find Usages Results menu item. -> The IDE seems to behave as if Return had been pressed in the Usages results window. That is, if some result item is selected in the Usages results window, it is loaded/positioned in the editor, and focus changes to the editor, instead of remaining in the Usages results window.
Key events somehow propagated through action performed into the find usages component.
Confirmed, this happens on my Mac too so that I am changing the platform from XP to ALL.
