Product Version = NetBeans IDE 6.9 RC1 (Build 201005242201) Operating System = Windows XP version 5.1 running on x86 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_18 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 16.0-b13 When i select the "Show non-printable Characters" option on the View menu, nothing changes on any file, i have tried on (html, xhtml, txt and php). I ahve tried alt-tab, scrolling, change documents, close and re-open, open new documents, create new documents, non of them made the non-printable characters show. Please let me know if there is any other option i have to turn on in order to make this feature work. Thank you
Ah, we are sorry, but this does not work. The new view hierarchy was not stable enough and was removed from the release. This feature requires the new view hierarchy in order to work. We probably should remove this menu item.
