Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201005101712) Operating System = Linux version 2.6.31-21-generic running on amd64 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_20 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 16.3-b01 If I remember it correctly I tested it just couple days before and it worked without problems. Steps to reproduce: - run IDE - open some java project - open Variables window (main menu) - type: System.getProperty("myprop") in-place at <Enter new watch> line - push Enter -> nothing happens : new watch isn't displayed in the list (as expected) ... see also issue 185921 (New watch is not displayed in the list of watches)
This should be fixed together with issue #185921, please verify when it propagates to a build.
In fact this is a different issue and is not fixed yet...
