When I need to log in into netbeans.org either wiki or Bugzilla I get into some strange refresh behaviour of IE8. Steps to reproduce: 1. Clear cookies, start IE8, go to nb.org 2. Click login, I get normal kenai.com login page. Enter my username and pwd and click login button. 3. I get back to page in browser I was before login, but I still need to login. I cannot e.g. edit the wiki page. 4. Click Login again and browser starts refreshing the page writing to status bar something like "connecting to 192.9.164.101" and in URL text box it switches the URLs between "https://netbeans.org/people/login" and https://netbeans.org/mypage" in neverending cycle. The login works e.g from Chrome browser for me on the same machine.
Interesting. Do you have the same problem on IE7? Just curious. We don't officially support IE8, but the behavior is weird. Will need to look into it further.
Now, I checked it on two various Win7 with IE8 and I wasn't able to reproduce it. Perhaps it will be related to some specific configuration or Martin's account. Martine, don't you have setup something non-default in IE8 or aren't you using any plugin? It could help me to setup similar environment, thanks in advance.
The problem was solved when I added https://netbeans.org into Trusted sites for IE 8.
