The Jira Issue Tracker do not search on the issue number when committing files to svn.  It would appear that only the Issue Title is being searched.

The search should be expanded to include the issue number as in most cases one known the issue number and not the exact text in the issue title.

unfortunately, i wasn't able to reproduce. Works for my also when using the issue key.

- What is your build? 
- Could you please reporduce and attach your messages.log file then?
- what exactly do you understand under "issue number" - the whole key - e.g. "MyProject-123" or only the number from the key?

Hi, I have check again.  The Jira component was not the latest version. I have upgrade to version 1.0.2 and the search feature now works correctly works
