Product Version = NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 201004030201) Operating System = Linux version 2.6.32-18-generic running on i386 Java; VM; Vendor = 1.6.0_19 Runtime = Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM 16.2-b04 When editing, if you select a method from the code completion screens where there are optional parameters and you allow the parameter hints to display, but then back out the parenthesis (i.e. leaving a valid method call), the parameter hints are not removed from the screen. To reproduce: 1) Add a method with an optional parameter to a model of class. 2) In another model/class use the code completion to add the method to your editor. 3) Allow the parameters to display 4) Backspace out the parameters and parenthesis for the method call for the instance *** The parameter block is still displayed. 5) Hit the period key and call up the code completion dialogs. *** The parameter hint is still on the screen. It should not be.
