Description Michael Montgomery 2001-12-04 02:15:17 UTC
Dock some windows (Compiler on bottom, "Explore From Here" on left specifically, but it also happens in other configurations) onto the sides (not center) of the source editor... after awhile (5-10 mins) the panes will resize incorrectly (become extremely small leaving lots of gray area) and cannot be resized. Attempts to undock the panes individually will usually result in an IndexOutOfBoundsException, and if not, redocking them produces the same "locked" layout as before. Problem is easily reproduced, and does not appear to be triggered by any user action.

Using JDK1.4.0-b3, NB dev build 200111280100, bug also present in previous 3.3 dev builds

looks like a bug in JDK 1.4 beta3
Comment 3 Jan Zajicek 2001-12-04 13:31:41 UTC
Seems like duplicate of #18087. Please verify the behaviour in nearest
3.3 release candidate (or release33build) and if the behaviour
persist, reopen this issue. Thanks in advance.

Note - your build is from main trunk - core and openide fixes are now
integrated into release33 (some into release330) branch only, all
changes will then be merged into trunk at once. Release33 branch
builds ends with number 0330.
