This bug was originally marked as duplicate of bug 176909, that is already resolved. This bug is still valid, so this seems to be another bug, but it might be related. I'm affraid I cannot do much with this issue. The OffsetRanges in Hint-s provided by the HtmlHintsProvider are checked for not being less than zero and if from_offset is less or equal to to_offset. The offset range is recomputed to document's offset using the given ParserResult's snapshot so I do not understand how can such offsets be out of range of the top level snapshot. The whole problem seems to be a parsing.api bug, maybe some snapshots caching since the issue is not always reproducible. I could possibly add a check if the returned offset overlaps the top level snapshot's length but I do not have access to it.
