Newly loaded 201003180200.
Clean User Directory.

I have 4 ruby on rails projects loaded into my IDE on a Dual Core Centrino Duo
with 4GB memory and 
160GB free space.

While the projects were being scanned, I attempted to expand the project tree
for one project of the 4.  
Immediately the IDE locked up.

The IDE appears to be taking up enough processor time that I am unable to
launch the Task Manager 
to kill the IDE process.

The only way to terminate my IDE is to perform a hard shutdown (i.e. PowerOff) of the Windows XP machine.

Can you please take 3-4 consecutive thread dumps while the IDE is locked and attach them here? Thanks.

Unfortunately I can't proceed with this issue w/o the requested thread dumps, so marking as incomplete. So when you have a chance please take 3-4 thread dumps (a couple of seconds apart) while the IDE is stuck and attach them here - thanks!

When the IDE locks up, both CPU's in the machine are pegged at 100%.  The system is currently having problems making the switch to the proper context for generating the thread dumps you are requesting.

In 201003260201 it appears that this is no longer possible.  I will keep monitoring this and if it is reproducible again, I will reopen.
