Description Jaromir Uhrik 2010-03-09 03:42:09 UTC
Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build cdev-2143-on-100309)
Java: 1.6.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.3-b01-101
System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb)

When I try to file issue via main menu Help|Report Issue... the Report a New Issue page appears. There should be inserted Product/OS/Java version in the issue description by default. But usually it is not there - it appears there only very rarely. Actually I don't know how to reproduce the case that the info appears there.
Comment 1 Jaromir Uhrik 2010-03-09 03:47:39 UTC
If the IDE is in state that the info is not pasted to the description then just invoke Plugin Manager (probably any other dialog). Then just go to Help|Report Issue... and the info is pasted to the reported issue description. Next attempt to report issue has again empty description by default:-(
Comment 2 Jaromir Uhrik 2010-03-09 04:16:58 UTC
Oh no, the previous comment is not true. There is some magic which seems to have no rules - it is something like 50/50 to reproduce the issue.
Comment 3 Jan Stola 2010-03-09 04:29:37 UTC
It seems to be some race condition. I have an idea where the problem can be.
Comment 4 Jan Stola 2010-03-09 04:57:12 UTC
Fixed, hopefully - I was able to reproduce this problem regularly before and I haven't seen it with the fix.
