Code completion on Groovy code is unusably slow. 

I have a medium size Grails project. For groovy code, code completion takes 2-3 seconds after hitting "." to get code completion, and then takes 2-3 seconds to get code completion after starting to type in the method name. 

For java code within the same project, code completion is instantaneous.
