Created attachment 93433 [details] Screenshot attached... Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build cdev-1915-on-100120) Java: 1.6.0_17; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.3-b01-101 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb) There appeared strange processes in the status line - see attached screenshot. These processes cannot be killed and they seem to be running forever. I am not sure when they started but seems like they appeared suddenly without any input. I was just working with some kenai project and am not sure how to reproduce.
If a mysterious UI element appears, search sources for the module defining its label.
IssuePanel.projectMetaData from org.netbeans.modules.jira.issue.Bundle.properties
There are two problems. The first one is minor - the message shows {0} instead of the name of the project. It is caused by an incorrect pattern of the corresponding message. I have fixed that: http://hg.netbeans.org/cdev/rev/e83c748654f2 The second (more serious) problem is that this progress message is never removed. More and more messages are added into progress indicator when new issues are opened. The second problem is caused by tstupka's commit http://hg.netbeans.org/main-silver/diff/d4b419b4028e/jira/src/org/netbeans/modules/jira/issue/IssuePanel.java i.e. the root cause is the same as in issue 179671. The symptoms are different in this issue. Hence, I am not closing this issue as a duplicate of issue 179671 (to make sure that these symptoms get fixed as well). Reassigning to tstupka. Increasing the priority because the progress messages are annoying.
fixed in scope of http://hg.netbeans.org/cdev/rev/7e482b980fc6
Haven't seen the issue since the fix. Verified.
