When I do a search for just about anything in the NetBeans online help, a large number of the results all say "Ant User Manual". If I were an Ant user, I'd be annoyed because these titles don't give me any idea of what is in each page. As a non-ant user, I'd get annoyed because I don't care that much about Ant. at the very least, these should be given more meaningful titles. At the very most, it would be nice if they didn't dominate the results of every search so much.
http://nagoya.apache.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=5020 The manual is picked up from the Ant distribution with minimal changes. I guess someone could go and edit every Ant manual page to include a better title, for every new Ant release, but I am not volunteering. If someone has time to do it, it would be OK. The pages dominate search results because in fact Ant *does* provide facilities for a lot of the things you might search on. If you're a non-Ant user then you can turn the module off and the manual will disappear.
Resolved for 3.3.x or earlier, no new info since then -> closing.
