To use the dynafaces/ajax functionality in the ide, the project requires the jsf-extensions library. this library was available from the update center via the plugins manager, but in 6.8 the plugin is not listed. this was working fine in 6.7. An example of a project that uses the library is available on Kenai: Consulting Agency Solution Project This example project is used in several NetBeans IDE documentation tutorials
Is it possible to add it into Stable UC for 6.8? The module name is web.jsf.extensions
Petre, do you happen to know why the web.jsf.extensions module was removed from the UC? Thanks for your explanation.
Could this be related to the fact that VisualWeb no longer works with 6.8? If this library is not related/dependent on visual web, then I guess it should be published.
Alexei, can you please comment on this? Thanks!
Sure I can. It is related to: https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=164211 and request to publish for 6.7 was handled by Milan Kuchtiak: https://netbeans.org/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=164453
OK, then could you please Roberte stage websvc.jsf.extensions library on the 6.8 Beta UC again? See issue #164453. Thanks!
no more valid - I believe
