Description err 2009-12-21 16:55:45 UTC
The mailing list dev@editor.netbeans.org is getting Subject like

[[editor-dev]] Re: [[editor-dev]] Re: [[editor-dev]] jVi using Indent.lock and runAtomicAsUser

This is similar to bug 176439 but was not fixed when that bug was fixed. This is probably a migration issue.

Since Lea doesn't work for Oracle or on Kenai anymore, we might want to reassign this to an actual person that can and might do something to resolve the problem...

I do not know who that person would be... If I did, these issues would be assigned to them when I committed this comment.

It works these days ... http://netbeans.org/projects/editor/lists/dev/archive
Comment 3 err 2011-11-16 16:04:09 UTC
I just did a "reply to list" to test this and see

subject: [[editor-dev]] Re: [[editor-dev]] JDK 7 in NetBeans screencast
Comment 4 Jan Pirek 2011-12-13 07:54:13 UTC
kenai issue created
http://kenai.com/jira/browse/KENAI-3178
Comment 5 Jan Pirek 2011-12-14 09:29:05 UTC
according to kenai issue, this won't be fixed
Comment 6 Marco Walther 2011-12-14 17:01:26 UTC
Remove the enclosing [] from the custom_subject in the list configuration and it should work as expected.
Comment 7 Jan Pirek 2011-12-15 08:03:21 UTC
Thanks for the tip Marco. I have just done that, so let's see if it helps.

This fixed the issue.

The particular mailing list is hardly used. When I filed this, I thought other lists might have the same issue...
