Description Bradley Schmidt 2009-12-18 11:41:58 UTC
A couple of users have requested this since the 6.8 release and IMO it makes lot of sense. They would prefer to download an upgrade patch to go from NB 6.x to NB 6.z rather than having to download another 250mb installer. It's the model Firefox, Thunderbird and others use so it would be in line with current open source software conventions to make upgrades available this way.

Because of bundled tools (Java ME SDK, JavaFX SDK, GlassFIsh, etc) this may not be possible for all IDE features, but perhaps the auto updater could be extended to allow for such incremental upgrades.
