Description Marek Grummich 2001-11-20 10:40:56 UTC
Build 200111191655
JDK 1.4.0-build86
I have imported a project (Default) which was created in NB321. It was OK, Default_1 project was created, but when I have tried to open the project then attached exceptions were thrown.

Comment 2 Vitezslav Stejskal 2001-11-20 14:22:44 UTC
taking this issue

Why was it reported against 3.1 version? I suspect the field was
mistakenly filled, changing to 3.3 dev.
Comment 3 Marek Grummich 2001-11-20 14:28:22 UTC
It is my mistake. I apologize for that. Thanks for correction.
Comment 4 Vitezslav Stejskal 2001-11-20 14:59:01 UTC
Dafe, another bunch of exceptions thrown by winsys when opening
imported 3.2.1 project. The NPE from setSelectedTopComponent() is the
same as in issue #17760, the root of both reports is probably the
same.

Reassigning to dsimonek.
Comment 5 David Simonek 2001-11-20 20:46:45 UTC
Everything works ok now, with current sources. Fixed probably by
change of behaviour during project switching. Please verify if this is
true. Thanks.
Comment 6 Jan Zajicek 2001-11-21 09:39:53 UTC
Marku, can you verify this one, thanks.

Comment 8 Marek Grummich 2001-11-21 10:44:24 UTC
I have tested on today's dev build 200111210100 and an attached
exception was thrown in the console window (NO in the Exception
Window). Test case was same.
Comment 9 David Simonek 2001-11-21 12:34:55 UTC
Original exceptions should be really fixed in tomorrow's build.
However, I can't reproduce latest exceptions you reported. Please,
specify exactly what is needed to do in 3.2.1 and then in 3.3 to
reproduce. What I'm searching for is 1) 2) 3) steps.
Comment 10 Marek Grummich 2001-11-21 12:48:28 UTC
Here are steps:
1) Run NB 3.2.1 with a clear userdir and JDK 1.4.0 build86
2) Exit NB 3.2.1
3) Run NB build 200111210100 with a clear userdir and JDK 1.4.0
build86
4) Import a project called 'Default' from an appropriate NB 3.2.1 user
directory (*/system/Projects/Default)
5) Open a project called 'Default_1'
Comment 11 Milan Kubec 2001-11-23 11:08:16 UTC
Still not fixed, I will mark it as duplicate of #17899.
Comment 12 Milan Kubec 2001-11-23 11:10:24 UTC
