Description Nikita Krjukov 2009-12-08 11:16:14 UTC
Here is a quotation from a mail message with explanations:

====================================================

    a) On the .bpel file context menu, I think it should be "Check Compatibility...", with upper case "C" This would be consistent with the "Save As Template..."

    b) On the "Resolve compatibility" dialog, I would also argue for upper case "Resolve Compatibility"

    c) On the "Resolve compatibility" dialog, there are is another inconsistency - "Check result", but it is
    "Important Information".

There are a few of typos in the "Resolve compatibility" dialog:

    a) First sentence - "You BPEL file ..." should be "Your BPEL file ..." This could also be corrected by changing the words to "The BPEL file ..." which might actually be better.

    b) In both the "Check result:" and "Suggestions:" boxes it looks like there is no space in the "newformat" words. This might just be just the screen shot, but could you check it.

    c) In the "Suggestions:" box second bullet, the word "batton" should be "button".

    d) In the "Important Information" box, first bullet, the word "trasformation" needs an "n" - "transformation".

And one English grammar suggestion: In the first bullet of "Suggestions:" -

"The BPEL can be automatically converted to the new format by pressing the "Convert" button below, but this can cause conflicts between the old and new extensions."

Resolved in GF ESB v23 and v22 both.
Comment 2 Nikita Krjukov 2009-12-11 07:06:57 UTC
The "Resolve Compatibility" dialog appears the following way:
-- Open a old BPEL project (from GF ESB v2.0)
-- Select the BPEL file in the Project view
-- Call Pop-up menu and "Check Compatibility..." action inside

 a) On the .bpel file context menu, I think it should be "Check
Compatibility...", with upper case "C" This would be consistent with the "Save
As Template..."

>Fixed in GFESB2.2
    b) On the "Resolve compatibility" dialog, I would also argue for upper case
"Resolve Compatibility"
>Not Fixed , c is still lower case

    c) On the "Resolve compatibility" dialog, there are is another
inconsistency - "Check result"
>Not fixed, result 'r' shows lower case.
, but it is
    "Important Information".

 Below are check on GFESBv2.2
There are a few of typos in the "Resolve compatibility" dialog:

    a) First sentence - "You BPEL file ..." should be "Your BPEL file ..." This
could also be corrected by changing the words to "The BPEL file ..." which
might actually be better.
> fixed

    b) In both the "Check result:" and "Suggestions:" boxes it looks like there
is no space in the "newformat" words. This might just be just the screen shot,
but could you check it.
>fixed

    c) In the "Suggestions:" box second bullet, the word "batton" should be
"button".
> not fixed, still shows batton

    d) In the "Important Information" box, first bullet, the word
"trasformation" needs an "n" - "transformation".
> not fixed, still shows trasformation

And one English grammar suggestion: In the first bullet of "Suggestions:" -

"The BPEL can be automatically converted to the new format by pressing the
"Convert" button below, but this can cause conflicts between the old and new
extensions."

not fixed, c in compatibility is lower case
