Description catweasle 2009-12-03 08:46:45 UTC
NB 6.7.1 shows base ide plugin 1.6.5 in available updates icon (botton right corner of te screen).
After updating and restarting plenty of other plugins are disabled because the base ide plugin requires other versions.
I suspect this plugin needs NB6.8.
How do I revert to version base ide plugin 1.6.4?

Hello Jan, I tried to reproduce your problem but everything worked fine for me. I installed 1.6.5 version into my NetBeans 6.7.1 without problems.

Hence I am closing this bug as worksforme. If you can reliably reproduce the problem, please reopen this bug and give me exact steps to reproduce starting with:

1. Download NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 [1] and install it into a brand new directory.
2. Launch newly installed NetBeans IDE 6.7.1 with an empty userdir.
3. Invoke "Tools > Plugins" and select all plugins in "Updates" tab.
4. Click "Install" button.
5. Etc.

Thanks for your feedback!

Tried to reproduce on a fresh install as suggested and did not get error.
As the errors I see come from NetBeans 6.7.1\enterprise5\...
my problem might be related to older glassfish3 preview?

Yes, that was my original suspicion. Some incompatible plugin installed prior to the upgrade.
