Hi, can someone plese shed some light to what's the difference between http:// and https:// access to bugzilla? I mean in terms of _functionality_, not security, of course. I have put following link into bookmarks: http://netbeans.org/bugzilla/buglist.cgi?query_format=advanced&short_desc_type=allwordssubstr&short_desc=&product=debugger&long_desc_type=substring&long_desc=&bug_file_loc_type=allwordssubstr&bug_file_loc=&status_whiteboard_type=allwordssubstr&status_whiteboard=&keywords_type=allwords&keywords=&cf_bug_type=DEFECT&bug_status=NEW&bug_status=STARTED&bug_status=REOPENED&emailassigned_to1=1&emailtype1=substring&email1=&emailassigned_to2=1&emailreporter2=1&emailqa_contact2=1&emailcc2=1&emailtype2=substring&email2=&bugidtype=include&bug_id=&votes=&chfieldfrom=&chfieldto=Now&chfieldvalue=&cmdtype=doit&order=Reuse+same+sort+as+last+time&field0-0-0=noop&type0-0-0=noop&value0-0-0= When I used this link later, I was surprised that the query returned some issues that I've already resolved. When I changed "http://" to "https://" the query produced different results and the list was suddenly up-to-date. This looks like a defect to me, it's confusing, at least.
We had some caching issues at some point. They should be fixed. Could you try this again. please and let us know if that's still a problem?? There should be no `functional' difference between http:// and https:// for BZ. Except, that BZ sometimes forwards you to https:// automatically when it thinks you should use https;-) Thanks, -- Marco
