I cannot load page http://netbeans.org/people/ from Iceweasel (Debian's fork of Firefox). I always get the following error page: Status: 500 Internal Server Error Content-Type: text/html 500 Internal Server Error I have plug-ins NoScript and CookieMonster installed in Iceweasel. To work-around the issue, I disabled CookieMonster and globally enabled JavaScript in NoScript settings - it did not help. I tried to change the browser's user-agent string such that Iceweasel identifies as Firefox - it did not help either. I can load the page in Opera. Finally I could log-in to netbeans.org by opening an issue and logging in from the issue page. Even after the successful login, I cannot load the above page. Technical information: Debian 5.0 (Lenny) 64-bit running on Intel. Opera 10.01 Iceweasel 3.0.6 - default user-agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux x86_64; en-US; rv:1.9.0.15) Gecko/2009102814 Iceweasel/3.0.6 (Debian-3.0.6-3) - overridden user-agent string: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.9.0.14) Gecko/2009091010 Firefox/3.0.6 (Debian-3.0.6-3)
Mariane, are still able to reproduce this issue? Thanks, P.
Yes, it is still reproduciable on Debian's Iceweasel.
This might be a hint: http://www.mail-archive.com/debian-www@lists.debian.org/msg32108.html Read also the other e-mails referenced from the page (see the links at the bottom of the page).
Marian, do you have any proxy setting in your browser? If you are in SWAN, there is no need to use Sun IT proxies anymore. They have not been maintained for 2 years. Will mark the bug incomplete for more user input.
After setting proxy settings to "No proxy", I can successfully load the page. Thank you for the hint.
