I can select "Customize..." from the toolbar context menu and remove any icons from the toolbars with drag and drop. But I cannot seem to be able to drag-out the combobox that shows me the "configuration" for the current project. It's something I never use and it's also a big component, taking about as much as 3 normal toolbar buttons so I would very much like to be able to get rid of it. OSX, Java 6, NetBeans 6.8 beta

works fine on windows vista (need to drag combo box border). i'll check on a mac machine later on
works fine on a mac as well - when dragging toolbar empty just next to the combo box...
Actually now it seems to be working for me too (using NB 6.8). The trick is to go a bit bellow the combobox and drag that "empty" area. From my point of view, we can close this bug.
