Product Version: NetBeans IDE Dev (Build 200910141401) Java: 1.6.0_15; Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM 14.1-b02-92 System: Mac OS X version 10.5.8 running on x86_64; MacRoman; en_US (nb) When the user is online on kenai the green icon appears in status line. By this icon there appears number which is the number of offline users. It might not be clear for users what this numbers stands for. This number must be mentioned in the tooltip. So far the tooltip doesn't tell anything about the number of online users (see attached screenshot). I am not sure whether the number should count myself. IMHO it is valuable to know number of "colleagues" that are online so that the number should be decreased by one. Then the number will correspond to the number of items in the contact list.
