Description jeremyclarke 2009-10-13 19:59:06 UTC
I downloaded and installed the 6.8 Milestone 2 package onto my 6.7.x install. I got the message about importing the
settings from the old version and said yes.

When I opened a file the syntax coloring was wrong, which made me think my colors had been lost. It turned out they
weren't lost but the custom color profile I had created and named had been deactivated and was switched back to the
default 'NetBeans' one.

I think when you upgrade it should know which color profile was active and use that. Color profiles can be really
important to people and its scary to think it might be lost. Maybe the current way works as long as you made your
changes directly to the default profile, but if you are using a custom one that should be rewarded, not punished.

Thanks!

This is already fixed in 6.8dev builds.
