[ BUILD # : 200910100201 ] [ JDK VERSION : 1.6.* ] When Go-To-Declaration needs too much time, I see a "Go to declaration .." (So the slowness-detection doesn´t find this). So there´s one point less at slowness-detection, but I don´t think, that´s the resolution for the real problem, that the GoToDeclaration is sometimes slow. Another problem with this dialog is, that it´s not easy to make a snapshot: After some seconds, the dialog is shown and I have no change to make a snapshot, because the dialog blocks everything and the first 10 seconds are not in the snapshot. So I have to cancel the dialog, start a snapshot and have to wait again. Regards Stefan
Created attachment 89369 [details] Snapshot while Scanning Projects.
Created attachment 89532 [details] Today I downloaded the latest build, started the IDE and then pressed Ctrl-LeftMouseClick on a method.
Created attachment 90666 [details] Go to Declaration while Scanning projects. In this case I pressed Ctrl+LeftMouseClick in a small class (1000 lines) Is this window really the resolution of the problem?
It´s a performance-problem. I´ll attach again a NPS-Snapshot (The last 5 Minutes I only see "Performing Go to Declaration, please wait.)
Created attachment 90792 [details] After 26Minutes(!!) I saw the Source-file!
Created attachment 90793 [details] The log-file for the previous nps-File.
Probably fixed in newest releases
