the removal of "advanced options" has removed the ability to set the size of the javadoc and code completion popup 
windows. this worked in netbeans 6.5, ie it is a regression

Unless this gathers some significant amount of votes we are not going to add UI for this setting, sorry.

how is this not a regression - something that's worked for several versions and you're just dropping it ??? without 
admitting that you dropped it. you're putting out press releases and news items announcing all the fancy new features in 
a version, but if you've removed significant functionality (you have), where's the announcement of that

love the product ... hate the ongoing false advertising and fraud
