Description soupdragon 2009-09-30 09:32:32 UTC
Task scanning seems to be wasting a lot of bandwidth etc. of which we are in dire need for more front line activities,
like source evaluation during editing, name completion, searching for classes etc..

It's pointless for the task scanning to be poking around in source code of 3rd party libraries. And in our case its
particularly expensive because we use a shared library area on a networked drive (which I imagine is pretty common
practice in collaborative working).

Please let's have a file path filter for the task manager, and if any way can be found to push it down the priorities
that would be no bad thing (though I'm aware it's hard to control the priorities of disc activities).
