Hello, I honestly mean no offense with this issue but after having used TortoiseSVN and Subclipse for years, now I'm really, really trying to use Netbeans but the SVN integration is just unusable compared to those other two. To give some more details, in both subclipse and tortoise when you click commit you get a list of *changes*, plus optionally you can display the unversionned files to do a svn add on them, you get one checkbox per file to easily add/ remove it from this particular commit, you can double click a file to get a diff and review the changes. All those things are, as far as I know, impossible to do from the commit dialog in Netbeans, and they are all very useful, highly productive features. Now I don't really know much about Java itself, so it's a wild guess, but I have to ask, couldn't you integrate Subclipse in Netbeans somehow ? It's java, it's some kind of open source, I didn't look extensively at licenses used by netbeans and eclipse projects but I assume/hope it would work out. In any case thank you and I really hope the next major Netbeans release will see some improvement there.
